The BIS is located in Zekeriyaköy, Bahçeşehir and Çamlıca (Anatolian Side) campuses in İstanbul and welcomes Turkish families. It provides the atmosphere and standards expected of an international educational environment so that our students become positive lifelong learners and world citizens who appreciate cultural diversity. BIS has many established teachers who have been in our school for many years. They are fortunate to have many fresh faces to help build our approaches to teaching and learning fresh! At BIS we believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life for them to fulfil their potential. We provide a fun and stimulating learning environment in a secure and happy setting. Our highly experienced class and specialist teachers create a holistic curriculum with individualised learning to suit the needs of every pupil.

The BIS hosts students from the ages of 3 to 18 years with foreign and Turkish nationalities. Provides students with an international environment where they enjoy sports and nature in addition to more traditional classroom-based education with the many facilities offered by the campus. It has a Botanic Garden with an amphitheatre and an allotment garden, a modern school theatre, libraries, computer suites using Apple technology and well-equipped science laboratories, indoor gymnasiums, an all-weather sports pitch, a basketball/volleyball, tennis court and a heated swimming pool. It also has play areas and activity playgrounds that have rubberised safety surfaces. The school provides an opportunity to share this multicultural environment and participate in various activities. We aim to ensure all children are supported and challenged in all lessons through differentiated learning.

The BIS students are taught a unique academic programme referencing the Turkish National Curriculum. Individual students achieve their full academic potential, inspired to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens of the global community. The international learning environment and combined activities provide an opportunity for students to learn English, Spanish, and French through interactive communication and extracurricular activities.
